Before: The Classroom at Red River Primary

Our First Project

In June 2011 Cecile & Boyd's started their own in-house charity division.  We were fortunate to have been introduced to Rock Girl (a charity organization) at that time, who led us to The Red River Primary School in Manenberg.

They had an empty classroom that needed some serious help in transforming it into a "safe space" where kids could feel safe, be creative, be inspired and uplifted.

Our Mission Statement

Through using our design knowledge and experience, as well as the psychological and therapeutic qualities of colour, our aim will be to uplift children through the creation of ‘safe’ spaces with the hope of re-engaging children into their schools and society.
The Foundation focuses on creating beautiful, harmonious and uplifting spaces in underprivileged areas in and around Cape Town to create awareness that even the simplest element, like colour, can be used to transform, encourage, heal and give hope to societies.
Our aim is to enhance and install a series of spaces every year that will be used for the benefit of children, connected with a specific school or organization, or a community.
